Wawarsing man charged with making ongoing text message threats

KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has charged a 35-year-old Wawarsing man with the misdemeanor of aggravated harassment.

On December 4, investigators began looking into a complaint of ongoing threats made via text messages by Waldemar Rivera-Gonzalez to a former landlord.

He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Wawarsing Town Court.
