TOWN OF WALLKILL – A 78-year-old Goshen man suffered serious injuries in a construction accident at 1 Inwood Drive in the Town of Wallkill, Town Police said.
The incident occurred at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, December 28 when Cornelius Matthew Zabriskie was constructing a concrete stairwell and fell from scaffolding onto a concrete floor below.
He was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center by Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps where he was admitted.
Town detectives are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.###
