Monticello Elks help kids stay warm

MONTICELLO –  Just in time for the holidays, Monticello Elks Lodge #1544 utilized a $2500 Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant to provide winter clothing for students in the Fallsburg and Monticello School Districts. 49 coats were distributed along with 40 pairs of gloves and 40 hats. The Elk shoppers were District Deputy Jim Gerrard and Renee Vandermark. Gerrard thanked the many Lodge elves who assisted with this project.
