TOWN OF BEEKMAN – Fire early Sunday evening caused considerable damage to a single-family house at 1483 Clove Valley Road in Beekman.
At 5:30, the first arriving firefighters confirmed heavily involved fire and called for a second alarm to bring additional departments and manpower to the scene.
A half-hour later, an advanced life support ambulance was called to the scene to treat a burn victim who lives in the home.
Beekman Fire Chief Greg Rayburn said the cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
Assisting in the firefighting operations were fire departments from LaGrange, Union Vale, East Fishkill, and Pawling.
