WHITE PLAINS – A 64-year-old Yonkers man was convicted by a Westchester County Court jury of robbery, assault, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

On three different days, William Hines robbed three victims in Yonkers and assaulted one of them. In one instance, he stole money from an 11-year-old boy and in another, punched the victim in the face, requiring hospitalization.

Hines is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
