GOSHEN – Hyun Chin Kim, the court attorney for Orange County Court Judge William DeProspo, is going to run for county court judge next fall. She announced the launch of her campaign on Facebook.
Prior to serving with DeProspo, Kim was chief assistant attorney in the Orange County Attorney’s Office. Before that she was an assistant district attorney in the Bronx DA’s Office.
Her legal career spans almost 25 years.
The Town of Newburgh resident is a graduate of Vassar College in Poughkeepsie and received her Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia.
