WAWARSING – State Police have arrested a Fallsburg man on a manslaughter charge for allegedly stabbing a Wawarsing man to death.
Troopers were called to Route 209 in Wawarsing around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3 for a report of an assault.
The investigation found the victim, Jomar Gonzalez, 24, of Wawarsing, was stabbed several times. He was pronounced dead at Ellenville Regional Hospital.
Police later arrested Tiquan Underwood, 21, of Fallsburg on a manslaughter charge.
State Police are continuing their investigation and ask anyone with information to contact their Ellenville Barracks at 845-626-3863.
