KINGSTON – The indoor Kingston Winter Farmers Market is opening for the season on Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Old Dutch Church on Wall Street in Uptown Kingston.

This season many local farms will return as well as some new vendors to round out the 21-table market.

The main fruit and veggie vendors come loaded with salad and cooking greens, sprouts, carrots, apples, pears, potatoes and more. You can also find local pastured meats, free-range eggs, artisanal cheese, kimchee, honey, mushrooms, pickles, fresh breads and baked goods, gluten-free options, hot tamales and fresh caught fish at every market. This winter we are also welcoming pop-up vendors at each market to spice it up: hard cider tastings, mead, maple syrup, hot lamb sausages, tasty samosa plates, dog treats, olive oil, local distilled spirits and spices.

There will be live music at every market from 11a.m. to 1 p.m.

The farmers market will accept EBT/SNAP benefits at the market year round – for every $5 in SNAP you spend, you’ll get a $2 FreshConnect check to spend at the market.

The Winter Market runs every other Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from December 7 through April 25 inside Bethany Hall at the Old Dutch Church at 272 Wall Street between Main and John Streets in Kingston.
