STONY POINT – A 53-year-old Central Nyack man was arrested on Thursday, November 28 by Stony Point Police on a charge of criminal contempt for a violation of an order of protection with a previous conviction.
Police responded to a residence of Thiells Road on a report of domestic disturbance. Anthony Gulifield was located at the residence of a woman who had a stay-away order of protection against him.
Gulifield was charged with a felony as he had a previous conviction for violating the order of protect.
He was remanded to the Rockland County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
