Saugerties man arrested for violating order of protect several times

KINGSTON – Authorities from the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center have arrested Niles Turner 33, of 376 West Saugerties Road in Saugerties on a charge of criminal contempt.
On October 21, the center began investigating a complaint to the Office of Children and Family Services’ central registry.  The investigation revealed that on a number of occasions, Niles violated a stay-away order of protection, which was issued by Saugerties Town Justice Christopher Kraft, on October 23.
On November 8 Turner was arrested and charged with criminal contempt as a misdemeanor.
The Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center was assisted by members of the Town of Saugerties Police Department. 
The Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center is comprised of members of the Town of Saugerties Police Department, Ellenville Police Department, Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and Ulster County Child Protective Services.
