NEWBURGH – The search for Yessica Lopez, the 36-year-old Newburgh woman who was last seen a week-and-a-half ago, continued Sunday with police concentrating on the Hudson River area of Newburgh.
Police walked up and down the shoreline while a police boat searched the river.
Yessica Lopez was last seen on Friday, November 1 at Chili’s restaurant at the corner of Routes 300 and 17K.
Her car, a silver Toyota Camry, was located, according to her brother, Ernesto Lopez.
Police also scoured the wooded areas of the Town and City of Newburgh this weekend while a State Police helicopter flew overhead looking for signs of the woman.
