Ariel Dental is hosting a “Check-Up On Family” food drive to collect non-perishable food items for Family Of New Paltz food pantry. Food donations will be accepted from November 4 through November 22, between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, at Ariel Dental at 3 Plattekill Avenue in New Paltz.
A study by SUNY New Paltz indicated that three in every twenty Ulster County residents, at times, lack adequate food to meet basic nutritional needs. Ariel Dental said that the need for the food drive is because “The holidays offer a particular strain as families and individuals can’t afford the grand meals that most of us have come to enjoy, while also being confronted with being and feeling alone.”
