GOSHEN – The Orange County Human Rights Commission has announced the awardees to be feted at its 24th annual awards ceremony.

It will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at The Fountains of Wallkill Golf Club in the Town of Wallkill.

The event will honor four individuals and a veterans’ peer group who have worked to strengthen relationships and foster equality for everyone in the community. This year’s honorees are Danielle Barbour of Safe Space America, Pastor Rolfi Elivo of the Warwick Reformed Church, Fran Fox-Pizzonia of Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley, Decora Sandiford a Performance Poet and Rap Artist, and the Vet2Vet Program, a veteran peer program of the Mental Health Association.

“It is truly a privilege for the commission to honor the work of these incredible individuals who are making a difference in our community, and some even nationwide. They each exemplify the essence of what the Commission’s mission is, and we are excited to celebrate their achievements,” said Inaudy Esposito, executive director of the Human Rights Commission.
