STONE RIDGE – SUNY Ulster is in the process of developing its 2020-2023 strategic plan, led by co-chairs Dr. Crystal Schachter, Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Mark Stewart, Assistant Professor of Engineering.
The most recent draft is ready for review, and the college is soliciting feedback from community members.
“SUNY Ulster transforms lives by fostering intellectual growth, cultural enrichment, and economic prosperity,” said College President Dr. Alan Roberts. “Hearing directly from community stakeholders and business leaders about their needs from the College and their hopes for our future is imperative. Our goal is to work together to make SUNY Ulster an even better and stronger institution positioned to weather the challenges ahead and poised to ensure its mission endures to serve the county and region.”
Roberts said community feedback “helps ensure our 2020-2023 goals and strategies are meeting student and community needs.”
This round of feedback and discussion will continue through Monday, November 4.
SUNY Ulster’s Strategic Planning Committee will then consider all feedback, make final edits, and a completed document will be presented to the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees at their November 19, 2019, meeting.
