MONTICELLO – The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Political Victory Fund has endorsed Sullivan County District Attorney James Farrell for Sullivan County Court judge.

The group said its endorsement is based on Farrell’s near quarter of a century of criminal law experience as a professional prosecutor, the last decade as district attorney of Sullivan County and “his fair and impartial approach taken towards all matters of law.”

In 2011, Farrell was honored by the Sullivan County Friends of the NRA for his outstanding contributions and support of the Second Amendment and is a life member of the NRA.  The endorsement was based upon Farrell’s strong support for Second Amendment rights throughout his long and respected career in public service.

NYSRPA President Tom King said Farrell “is the right choice for Sullivan County Court judge. The county judge is the licensing authority for all pistol permits issued in Sullivan County and Jim Farrell is a firm supporter of the rights enshrined in the Second Amendment in our Bill of Rights and I encourage everyone to vote for him on Election Day this November 5, 2019.”
