COPAKE – State Police are investigating a report of a shooting at a party on Waldorf Ridge Road in the Town of Copake.
The incident was reported at about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 27.
Preliminary investigation has determined the incident is isolated and there is no specific threat to the community.
Police did not say if anyone was wounded in the incident.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Copake Rescue and the Copake Fire Department.
The investigation is continuing and State Police are asking anyone with information about the party or the shooting to call the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Livingston at 518-851-2972 or 518-851-3111.
