BEACON – Due to the weather forecast, this weekend’s scheduled ferry service between Beacon and Newburgh is canceled.
The first of two weekends of ferry service aboard the Hudson River Maritime Museum’s Solaris solar-powered tour boat was held on September 28 and 29. This was to be the second
Dutchess and Orange counties kicked in funding for the boat service.
Metro-North operates weekday commuter ferry service aboard commercial ferries.
