VALLEY COTTAGE – It looked like a scene from an action movie.
A car crashed through the front windows of Empire Physical Therapy in the Lake Ridge Plaza in Valley Cottage on Thursday. The car wound up sitting in the center of the therapy room after having taken out all of the large windowpanes.
The 59-year-old driver had a minor injury. Clarkstown Police did not say if the driver was a man or woman; however, they did say a 19-year-old patron was shook up but appeared to okay.
The incident is under investigation and no summonses or arrests were made.
The Clarkstown Building Inspector was called to the scene to determine the structural integrity of the premise.
