Orange County deputies, troopers save a life

UNIONVILLE – A 27-year-old woman was saved when Orange County Sheriff’s deputies and state troopers administered three doses of Narcan to her.

Police were called to the Village of Unionville on October 8 for a report of a woman who was not breathing and was unresponsive.

Officers found her still not breathing and showing signs of opioid overdose.

Two doses of Narcan were initially administered resulting in the woman beginning to breath but was still unconscious. An additional dose was administered and she regained consciousness.

She was transported to the hospital by Greeneville ambulance for observation.
