State Police are looking for this man in connection with two MoneyGram purchases with stolen debit card

BEEKMAN – State Police at the Salt Point barracks are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for identity theft.

Police said the man made two MoneyGram purchases in Danbury, Connecticut using account information from a victim in New York.

He made two of those money order purchases, both in the amount of $1,000.87, at the Walmart store at 67 Newtown Road in Danbury on September 21.

Police said he used the victim’s stolen Chase debit card to complete the purchase.

Anyone with information about the location or identity of the man is asked to call Investigator Melilli at 845-677-7300. All calls can be kept confidential.
