Castricone named Orange County risk management officer

GOSHEN – Former Orange County Legislator Daniel Castricone has been named the county’s risk management officer by County Executive Steven Neuhaus.

In that capacity, Castricone’s duties include development and managing a system of self- and fully-insured programs to meet the needs of the county and its employees. He will also administer and manage employee and retiree benefit programs and the county’s Workers’ Compensation program.

Castricone, who is an attorney, previously owned Castricone Enterprises, which hired, trained and developed sales and support for financial services and equities brokerages firms.

He is a resident of Tuxedo.
