Toddler’s foot severed in lawn mowing accident

FALLSBURG – A two-year-old girl was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla late Friday afternoon after her foot was cut off in a law mowing accident.

It was around 5 p.m. when Sullivan County 911 was alerted. A medivac helicopter was called in to transport the toddler to the hospital.

Her condition was not immediately known.

Fallsburg Town Police are investigating the accident.
