GOSHEN – Police may have their sights on someone in connection with the murder of Chelsea Debidin, 21, the Walden woman who was shot and killed in a Knox Village apartment in New Windsor two weeks ago.

Two men broke into the residence with one firing at Debidin, killing her and wounding a 20-year-old man.

Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler told Mid-Hudson News law enforcement may be closing in on the suspects.

“I can confirm at this point that they have an individual of interest and that they are working and speaking with that individual,” he said.

New Windsor Police, State Police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force are working on the case.
