Pawling man charged with sexual abuse

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Pawling man in connection with an accusation that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a victim.

The victim of the crime to which Alex Ramos-Hernandez, 27, is accused was known to him and police said there does not appear to be a threat to public safety.

Ramos-Hernandez was arrested on Friday, September 27, charged with felony sexual abuse and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
