BBG&G wins state Tourism Excellence Awards

CAMPBELL HALL – BBG&G, an integrated marketing agency in Campbell Hall, NY, received two 2019 Tourism Excellence Awards in conjunction with two of its destination clients from the New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA). The 2019 Tourism Excellence Awards were presented today at the NYSTIA annual meeting held in Auburn, NY.

Both BBG&G and the Destination Marketing Corporation for Otsego County (DMCOC) were recognized in the “Excellence in Overall Tourism Marketing” category for the entirety of the DMCOC’s 2018 marketing campaign, which included: traditional and digital advertising; website design, content, and maintenance; marketing automation and newsletters; public relations and social media; travel guide production; the development of a local partner program; and more.

In partnership with the Hudson River National Heritage Area (HRVNHA), BBG&G additionally received the award in the “Excellence in Tourism Marketing Projects” category for the 2018 campaign to promote the launch of the Hudson River Train Tour App. This campaign included traditional and digital advertising; website content; social media; public relations and influencer marketing; and more.
