FISHKILL – Fire in an HVAC unit at the Gap distribution center in Fishkill at mid-day on Thursday brought out area firefighters.

The two-alarm call was in response to smoke in a large warehouse building.

A massive arson fire at the giant facility in August 2016 destroyed a large warehouse and distribution equipment inside. The cause of that was determined to be arson, but to date, no one has been charged with the crime.

As the fire-damaged warehouse was being demolished in December 2016, a worker was killed.
