Shooting reported in City of Newburgh

NEWBURGH – Shots rang out in the City of Newburgh around 9 p.m. Wednesday and initial reports indicate one person sustained a gunshot wound.

The individual was believed to have been driven away from the scene at Benkard Avenue and William Street in a private vehicle.

This shooting is under investigation and comes days after one man was shot to death and another wounded in another incident.
