BETHEL – Darlene Fedun will end her 14 years as chief executive officer of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts at the end of the year. She will remain on as a consultant advising on visioning, strategic planning, organizational development and community enrichment.

Eric Frances will assume the CEO post. He has been chief financial officer and general manager of Bethel Woods since 2006 and has served as CFO of the Gerry Foundation.

“He has worked alongside Darlene for the past 14 years, and has been an integral part of the senior management team that molded the success of Bethel Woods,” said Alan Gerry, Chairman of the Bethel Woods Board of Director and founder of the center.

Frances will have day-to-day responsibility for all departments within the organization, and will report to the board of trustees. Gerry said Frances “will provide the leadership and vision to ensure that Bethel Woods thrives for many years ahead.”
