Saugerties man charged with January burglary

SAUGERTIES – Following an eight-month investigation, Saugerties Police arrested a local man on a felony burglary charge.

It is alleged that Kerrie Gartmann, 50, broke into a Village of Saugerties residence on January 29, 2019 and stole a tablet, two cell phones and a canvass bag.

Gartmann was arrested at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, September 19. He was released to Ulster County Pre-Trial and scheduled to reappear in Saugerties Village Justice Court.
