The burglary occurred when the homeowners were at the Fallsburg Police Department reporting the assault and menacing by Webb and Male earlier in the day. The two men were armed with metal knuckles and a BB gun at the time.

When the homeowners returned home from the police station, they discovered their home had been burglarized.

Webb was sentenced as a second felony offender having a prior burglary conviction in 2015.

An order of protection was issued in favor of the victims.

Farrell noted that from 2012 through 2018 reported burglaries to police agencies in Sullivan County have decreased over 61 percent. He praised the efforts of all law enforcement for “this significant accomplishment in driving down burglary in Sullivan County.”
