School bus-car crash ties up Poughkeepsie traffic

POUGHKEEPSIE – An accident involving a school bus and two cars has closed down the westbound arterial at the intersection with North White Street on Tuesday morning.

The school bus, operated by First Student, was not carrying children at the time. An aide on the bus was transported to the hospital by Mobile Life Support Services.

City of Poughkeepsie Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
