COOLBAUGH TWP PA – A narcotics investigation by Pocono Mountain Regional Police in Monroe County, PA, netted two arrests, including a man well-known to police in the Hudson Valley.  Jeffrey Brickle and his girlfriend, Krista Leggieri, along with their four children, ages 9, 6, 1, and 1 month, were found in a home full of drugs.

The search of the residence in Tobyhanna Township produced substantial evidence that Brickle and Leggieri were engaged in the illegal trafficking of heroin and/or fentanyl, marijuana, and marijuana oils or synthetics.

Located were bulk quantities of each marijuana, fentanyl/heroin, as well as bagged marijuana and medical strains of marijuana for street level sale.  Also found was a handgun reported stolen a year ago in Poughkeepsie.

Brickle was arrested on an existing warrant from New Rochelle City Police Department in New York, charged with arrest prior to requisition, and is being held at the Monroe County Correctional Facility without bail, pending his extradition back to NY.  Leggieri’s bail was set at $50,000.

Multiple felony and misdemeanor charges were filed against both suspects.

The children were placed in the protective custody of Monroe County Children and youth.
