KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Kingston woman on felony charges of welfare fraud, grand larceny and offering a false instrument for filing.

Investigation by the county Department of Social Services Special Investigation Unit, in conjunction with the District Attorney’s Office, found that from April through September 2019, Laticia Wilson, 34, was working at a second job, which she did not disclose to DSS, resulting in her receiving $2,340 in SNAP benefits to which she was not entitled.

She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Ulster Town Court.
