Yorktown Police arrest man for stealing from same store twice

YORKTOWN – A Yonkers man accused of two larcenies at the same CVS store on Commerce Street in Yorktown.

The suspect, who police did not identify in a news release, allegedly stole $2,085 worth of merchandise on September 22, 2018 and $966 worth of goods on
September 29, 2018.

Police attempted to contact the man several times but he was uncooperative. A warrant was issued for his arrest on February 5, 2019 and he was taken into custody by Dobbs Ferry Police, where he was being held.

The man was sent to county jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
