The victim, an 18-year-old Kingston man, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdominal area. He was transported by ambulance to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie and later released.

Investigation determined the victim was shot while he was returning to an address on Downs Street between Foxhall and Wiltwyck Avenues with three other people. No one else was struck.
