MONTICELLO – A 17-year-old boy was caught on Wednesday afternoon in the Walmart parking lot in the Town of Thompson after he allegedly made threats against law enforcement.
The youth was the subject of a dragnet in the vicinity of Catskill Regional Medical Center and Catskill Regional Urgent Care Center in Harris. As a precaution, both facilities were locked down until he was caught.
Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty said the youth was taken to Catskill Regional for evaluation and no charges have been filed at this point. The case remains under investigation.
