WASHINGTONVILLE – Assemblyman Colin Schmitt (R, 99) released a final report on his recent fact-finding mission to the US-Mexico border.

The report details what Schmitt witnessed and experienced firsthand with the ongoing border security and humanitarian crisis and the role New York plays.

The freshman lawmaker said he found no evidence of US mistreatment of detainees and said human trafficking by Mexican cartels is more of a problem than the illicit drug trade.
