POUGHKEEPSIE – Armed with a search warrant, the Dutchess County Drug Task Force raided a residence at 45 South Cherry Street in the City of Poughkeepsie on Friday, August 23 and arrested a man on a felony charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
The arrest of Rackish Salmon, 35, stemmed from an investigation into narcotic sales taking place at that location and surrounding area.
During the search of the residence, police seized about 20 grams of heroin and cocaine, $3,000 in cash, scales and packaging material.
Salmon was sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. Police said additional charged may be filed.
