PEARL RIVER – A 29-year-old Nanuet man was beaten and had his sneakers stolen as he walked out of a bar at 50 East Central Avenue in Pearl River at 2:30 Tuesday morning.
The victim, who was struck in the face and head by unknown suspects, was leaving Mickey’s Tavern when he was attacked. He suffered injuries to his face and was taken to Montefiore Nyack Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is continuing and detectives ask anyone who witnessed the assault or has information, or any store owner who may have video on the incident, to call Orangetown Police Detective Bureau at 845-359-2121.
