GREENWOOD LAKE – A search of Greenwood Lake is expected to resume Monday morning for a 38-year-old Monsey man who went into the lake after his 10-year-old daughter fell off the boat they were in Sunday afternoon.

The child, who was wearing a lifejacket, was rescued by witnesses at the lake, but her father has not been found.

Moses Witriol, the public safety director of Kiryas Joel, said the Greenwood Lake Police and Fire departments were doing everything possible to locate the man and he complimented the cooperation between first responders, including Hatzolah EMS personnel, for working together in their search for the missing father.
