GOSHEN – A Town of Wallkill man is under arrest and charged with felony grand larceny for allegedly stealing five tractors from his employer.
Investigators from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office charged Nelson Colon, 55, following a one-month investigation.
He allegedly took the machines from Hudson River Tractor in the Town of Goshen where he worked as a delivery driver.
The tractors are valued at a total of nearly $40,000.
Investigators recovered the property after tracking the machines to the City of Middletown, New Hampton, and with assistance of Mahwah Police, to the State of New Jersey.
Colon was arrested on July 31 and sent to the Orange County Jail without bail.
