Fourth suspect in Ellenville gang assault captured

ELLENVILLE – Police in Ellenville have arrested the fourth and final suspect wanted in a violent gang assault and robbery that occurred on July 9.

The attack occurred around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Park and Warren streets.

At about 2 a.m. on Sunday, State Police from the Wawarsing barracks arrested Jordan Coffey, 18, of Kingston, in an unrelated case after which he was processed and turned over to Ellenville Police.

He was charged there with gang assault, robbery and also criminal mischief in another case.

Coffey was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500,000 cash bail or $1 million bond.
