HUNTER – A fire at 13 Scribner Hollow Road in the Town of Hunter has claimed the life of a man, State Police said.
Jerry Meigs, 29, was confirmed dead at the scene of the fire, at around 6:50 a.m. on Tuesday, according to troopers.
The cause of the fire in a condo is unknown and under investigation by the New York State Fire and Greene County Fire Investigation Teams.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
