Homeless woman charged with stabbing man in the back

NEW ROCHELLE – A woman with a last known address as a homeless shelter in New Rochelle is charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing a man in the back on Saturday morning.

City Police were called to Main Street and Echo Avenue at around 8:47 a.m. and found the man sitting on the sidewalk with a knife lodged in his back. The New Rochelle resident was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Police investigated and arrested Autumn Graham, 44, in a park that afternoon. She was arraigned on Monday, charged with felony assault and sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
