New providers join Greater Hudson Valley Health System Medical Group

MIDDLETOWN/HARRIS – The Greater Hudson Valley Health System Medical Group announces the following new providers to its team:

Charles Afful, MD (Behavioral Health) obtained his medical degree from Ross University in Dominica. Dr. Afful completed his Residency in General Psychiatry through the Columbia University Harlem Residency Program located in New York, New York. He is ECFMG Certified and is an ongoing member of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Afful is working at Orange Regional Medical Group in Middletown.

Jeannette Green, MD (Women’s Health) obtained her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of South Florida. Dr. Green is working at Orange Regional Medical Group in Middletown and  Catskill Regional Medical Group in Monticello.

Eric Jarmon, DO (Behavioral Health) obtained his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, New York. He completed his Residency as PGY4 and Associate Chief Resident at Orange Regional Medical Center. He is completing a Fellowship in consultation liaison psychiatry at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel in New York, New York. He is an RFM Representative of West Hudson Psychiatric Society and a resident member of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Jarmon is working at Orange Regional Medical Group in Middletown.

Joshua Layher, DO (Primary Care) obtained his medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada. After medical school, he served in the U.S. Army before completing his Residency at Orange Regional Medical Center. Dr. Layher is Board-certified in Internal Medicine. He is working at Orange Regional Medical Group in Middletown and Monroe.

Muhammad Kamal, MD (Hospitalist) obtained his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College and Hospital in Multan, Pakistan. Muhammad completed his residency in Internal Medicine through Bronx-Care Health System in Bronx, NY. Dr. Kamal also worked as a research scholar at the University of Toledo and University of Arizona. He is working at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris.

Alicia Olowu, DO (Primary Care) obtained her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Dr. Olowu also completed her residency at Orange Regional Medical Center as PGY3 and the Chief Family Medicine Resident. She is Board-certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. Dr. Olowu is working at Orange Regional Medical Group in Middletown and Monroe.

Morenike Jegede, CM (Women’s Health) received her Masters of Science in Midwifery from State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She received her Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry from State University of New York at Binghamton University. Ms. Jegede is a Board-certified Midwife. She is working at Orange Regional Medical Group in Middletown, and Catskill Regional Medical Group in Monticello.

Robin Gumaer, FNP-BC (Intensive Care) obtained her Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. Ms. Gumaer completed her Bachelor of Science at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. She is working at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris as a Nurse Practitioner.
