Glider crashes, pilot OK

WURTSBORO – A glider pilot escaped injury when his aircraft crashed in the Kohl’s distribution center parking lot near Wurtsboro Airport on Friday.

State Police investigated the incident and have not yet provided any information about it.

A source said the glider appears to have bounced off a container on a tractor-trailer and hit the ground.
