CHATHAM – State Police in New Lebanon say a Kinderhook man died in an ATV accident Saturday evening on Bushnell Road in the Town of Chatham.
Troopers were dispatched shortly before 8 p.m. and found that Brandon Pitcher, 27, apparently failed to negotiate a turn. Pitcher, who was not wearing a helmet, struck a tree and died at the scene.
Chatham Emergency Medical Services, Columbia County Sheriff’s Department, and the Columbia County Coroner’s Office all responded on scene to render aid.
