ALBANY – The Civil Service Employees Association has a new regional president. Anthony Adamo of New Paltz takes over the reins from Billy Riccaldo, who retired after 45 years in civil service.
Riccaldo, of West Haverstraw, has spent his career as a Rockland County government employee.
Adamo has served as president of the CSEA SUNY New Paltz local since 2009. An electrician, Adamo first became a CSEA member when he was hired at SUNY New Paltz in 1999.
The CSEA Southern Region, which has over 38,000 members, covers the counties of Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Ulster, Putnam, Dutchess and Sullivan.
