MONSEY – A two-alarm fire caused considerable damage to a house at 46 Forshay Road in Monsey on Wednesday afternoon.
Flames and thick black smoke were visible from some distance as firefighters from area departments fought the blaze.
There were no reports of any injuries. The cause is under investigation.
