KINGSTON – James Maloney the Ulster County legislator who died on Thursday, July 11, at age 61, was remembered as a person who ‘”always put people first.”
He life was celebrated during a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Joseph’s Church in Kingston on Monday.
In addition to serving on the county level, Maloney was the town assessor in Ulster and Kingston.
He also was involved in volunteer fire departments and was a member of the Ruby Rod and Gun Club.
Friends and family at the funeral service were reminded he enjoyed his annual trip to Puerto Rico with his wife, Brenda.
Interment was at Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
